Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

These terms govern your use of FLOAT. By using the app, you agree to these terms. We've kept this as readable as possible.

What FLOAT is

FLOAT is a financial awareness and planning tool. It helps you understand your spending, set goals, and plan how to deploy your money each month. It uses AI to parse your financial documents and provide personalized guidance.

What FLOAT is not

FLOAT is not a licensed financial advisor. All suggestions, insights, and recommendations provided by FLOAT and your Money Mentor are educational in nature. They are not financial advice, tax advice, or investment recommendations. You are responsible for your own financial decisions. When in doubt, consult a qualified financial professional.

Market data

Exchange rates, cryptocurrency prices, and stock prices displayed in FLOAT are sourced from third-party APIs and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. FLOAT is not liable for financial decisions made based on this data. Always verify important financial information from authoritative sources.

AI accuracy

FLOAT uses AI to parse bank statements, categorize transactions, and generate financial insights. While we strive for accuracy, AI processing may contain errors. Transaction categories, spending analysis, and Freedom Day calculations are estimates based on the data you provide. You should review and verify important information.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which will permanently remove all your data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app. Continued use of FLOAT after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
